Alan Cote would spend his entire career with the Quebec Nordiques, which would begin when he signed with them in 1977.
The native of Matane, Quebec, was a defensive minded forward, which was a nice change of pace from the free skating forwards who populated their bench. That fact made him more valuable than his stats would show, and he would also become a sweet penalty killer for the team. Cote would play 802 Games for Quebec, making him one of the most tenured players in organizational history. He would score 328 Points for the team in what would be a 12-year career.
