43. Torey Krug

An underrated Defenseman, Torey Krug, played College Hockey at Michigan State, exceeding all expectations to become a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award.  His work landed him a Free Agent signing with the Boston Bruins, and he was ready to shatter the ceiling again.

 

Krug would be a First Team All-Rookie and was fourth in Calder Trophy voting.  Scoring 40 Points as a rookie, he missed that mark by one the year after but has had at least 40 Points every year since including a three-year run of 50-plus years (2016-17 to 2018-19). 

Krug, who signed with St. Louis in 2020, scored 337 Points for Boston
