gold star for USAHOF

30. Curt Giles

30. Curt Giles

There was nothing flashy about the game of Curt Giles but NHL teams need players who are defensive stalwarts, which was a role that he played very well.

Over two different runs with the North Stars Giles played 760 Games making him one of the most tenured players in franchise history.  He was not a scorer, but did have 217 Points over his Minnesota runs.  He would finish 9th in Defensive Point Shares in the 1981-82 Season.
