Dennis Smith? Lincoln Kennedy? Who in the world thinks they're HOF-worthy?They unloaded Roaf in his prime. Big deal. Players move on for a number of reasons.Did you see Largent play? How is he overrated?

Personally I think the Snake and Kenny Anderson are the 2 best quarterbacks not in the pro football hall of fame, followed shortly by Plunkett, Esiason, Simms, Kosar, Tommy Thompson (how come no one ever mentions this guy for the hall of fame? he was awesome), Brodie, Gabriel, Hart, Conerly, Hadl, and there are probably one or two others that I'm missing. The one guy that a lot of people say belongs in the Hall but I don't believe does is Randall Cunningham. He just wasn't an accurate enough passer. Personally I believe the offensive lineman if the most important position in football; and although there are already a lot of o-liners in the hall of fame, there should be more: Jerry Kramer, Mick Tingelhoff, Dermontti Dawson, Will Shields, Willie Roaf (sorry jimmy), Jim Tyrer, Bob Kuechenberg, Joe Jacoby, Jay Hilgenberg, Jimbo Covert, Richmond Webb, Dick Schafrath, Randy Cross, and others all have a case for the hall and the first 7 guys i mentioned should be in for sure. Also, in the near future Larry Allen, Jonathan Ogden, Walter Jones, and Orlando Pace will be elligible and should all be inducted into the hall of fame.
Hey jimmy26, what's your opinion on Will Shields? Do you think he belongs in canton, or do you put him in your Roaf-Dierdorf category of above average players disguised as hall of famers?
people thatwant roaf in the hall are not familiar with the movie the blindside. they made a point of saying how important a left tackle is after theisman got his leg snapped in two. left tackle is the second highest paid position after quarterback. lard ass roaf doesnt cut it. if he were in the secret service the president would be dead.

You need a better argument than pointing to some Hollywood fluff to be convincing here. Now Roaf wasn't even a good player? Let's not get carried away here.
lardassl played 13 years 2 postseason appearances 1 w 2 Losses johnathan ogden led a terrible balt offense into a super bowl. lardass played with a more talented offense in k.c. he was probably the 4rth best lineman on that team with will shields brian waters tim grunhard. brian waters got offensive player of the week when they scored 8 rushing touchdowns not lardass. if you put in lardass then we have to put pat harlow bruce wilkerson ron essink dennis lick angelo fields bubba paris steve august tunch ilkin brian holloway inright along with it. you can take deerdork out of the fame to. he hung around as a terrible announcer and they still put state the obvious deerdork into the hall 13 years 3 playoffas o wins 3 Losses and he was a RIGHT TACKLE . russ washington jon kolb would be much better choices.
Postseason appearances and superbowls don't make a great player, especially not at the offensive line. If they did Mark Schlereth would be in the hall. Give credit where credit is due. Your kidding me if your telling me Waters was better than Roaf, and he never played with Grunhard. Will Shields was better but what does that prove, Shields is a first-ballot hall of fame lock.

You forgot to mention how he ran over your dog. I mean, he obviously had to do something to you to be so hateful. Lardass? Deerdork? You must be Mr. Perfect to so ably throw out insults like that? How's your NFL resume?
