Getting the Rock list to 600

4 months 1 week ago - 1 week 2 days ago #1180 by Dr Clayton Forrester
So it would take 18 additions to get to 600 and when I recently took a look at the list, I thought of some acts (unless I missed them on the main list) that could maybe join it.

1. Gerry Rafferty
2. Stealers Wheel
3. The Traveling Wilbury's
4. KC and the Sunshine Band
5. Cinderella
6. Live
7. Blind Melon
8. Great White
9. The Tokens
10. Jimmy Ruffin
11. Steve Perry
12. Mike and the Mechanics
13. The Hooters
14. Norman Greenbaum
15. Spin Doctors
16. Barrett Strong
17. The Champs
18. The Shadows of Knight

The last three had songs honored at this years ceremony and thus seemed appropriate that they could make such a big list.

Thoughts?

I'm not saying they deserve induction, but based on those currently ranked, I think these people should be considered. I'm also not claiming these are all rock artists, but given the current Hall and the ranked artists here, it's a big tent.

I figured brainstorming would get some discussion going.
