The 2014 HoF ceremony on HBO

I watched it this weekend. Quite excellent.

Joan Jett absolutely nailed Smells Like Teen Spirit. Given my age, I expected the Nirvana induction to be the most emotional for me and it was, but I actually ended up being incredibly moved by the E Street Band going in.

Sad that Linda Ronstadt cannot travel due to illness but they put on a great tribute for her with some legendary female artists.

Cat Stevens has still got it. Hall and Oates.... well it was alright. Though I laughed my ass off at the SNL sketch. Peter Gabriel obviously can't hit the high notes anymore but he is still an amazing artist.

Tom Morello gave the best induction speech of the night for KISS. It was good to see them all together despite the lack of performance.
