gold star for USAHOF

Top 100 Negotiations!

BTW, you can probably replace Mike Graham in the 101 to 200 range with someone like Matt Borne. At least the Doink character is referenced by WWE a lot. Graham can probably be considered last in line for the HoF now.

ADD (to the top 100)

Lord Alfred Hayes - Beloved sidekick of Vince. They put him in so many skits from going on safari to star trek to actually being hung by the Funks. When he died they gave him the ten bell salute and had Jim Ross call him part of the WWE family while introducing a video package. I honestly think it's just a matter of time before they get around to him.

SUBTRACT (from the top 100)

Chavo Guerrero Sr - As much as I liked his rundown of the top 100 about 2 years ago, I don't think WWE has much interest in inducting him. If they do induct another Guerrero, it'll probably be Vickie. If not her, then it'll probably be Gory Guerrero as the family patriarch.

Gory will be on the revised list.....

I have to admit....my personal feelings for Chavo will cloud his ranking a bit..... (can't help it)

As for Graham.....yeah, he has no shot. Loved watching him work, hated how he killed himself.

Borne is like another wrestling casulty sadly......

Thoughts on where Waltman should be?

Waltman is tricky because WWE clearly wants to induct D-Generation X as a group. That's also another reason why the New Age Outlaws should be moved way the hell up the list from their current position aside from just being one of WWEs top tag teams ever. But X-Pac has always been somewhat of a tag along. If you're not going to move Chyna into the top 100, then I see no reason why X-Pac should be in that range. 101 to 150 should suffice.

Well if Chavo Sr doesn't get moved back, then move back Tony Garea. He's kinda like Rene Goulet, only with a couple of more tag title runs. But even still I can't for the life of me picture an induction video for him. He's that boring of an induction. lol

Why is the Godfather so far back? Vince loves him. While he doesn't have to crack the top 100, he could easily get inducted because of the popular gimmick. He has a far greater shot than General Adnan or Savio Vega.

Two female competitors who should move up are Madusa and Bull Nakano. Sure Madusa dropped the womens championship in a trash can, but WWE invited her back for WrestleMania 25. And Bull Nakano is just way too far back there. She visits WWE whenever they're in Japan. You know, I might even think Leilani Kai should be moved up further. She's a former Women's champion and womens tag team champion. She's the only competitor to compete at both Mania 1 and 10.

I'd also move Slick and Luke Graham up further. Slick will end up being the token minority at some point as is obviously loved enough to be flown to various raws to dance or marry daniel bryan and AJ. Graham was one of WWE's top competitors of the 70s.

There are some still left in the top 100 that don't sit well with me.

Jackie Fargo - He was the big fish of a small pond and now he's dead. He doesn't have to leave the top 100, but he can certainly slide back.

Jimmy Garvin - Unless he's inducted with the Freebirds, he isn't going in. But as a singles competitor I think he's way too far up the list. I mean they'll induct Malenko before him.

Eddie Gilbert - His biggest problem is that he's not Brian Pillman or Owen Hart. If the top 100 needs room, he can easily be moved out.

I did the actual laugh out loud on the Tony Garea induction video.

Madusa will be moving up...votes are propelling her forward. Nakano did get popped for coacined in the WWE which won't help her though.

Though with Chyna working with Vivid.....damn, i can;t see her getting in...even with DX

Godfather will go up a bit.....but as a worker....well.....he wasnt that good.....

I loved Leilani Kai......i personally think she was a "glue" worker who should have a bigger status.

Fargo..... Agreed regional...but one hell of a region!

Gilbert is beloved as a genius.....should have been bigger

Jimmy Garvin is on good terms with the WWE....with the birds.....yeah, could happen!

Personally...the character of Slick always bothered me...seemed a little to stereotypical for my taste, but yes, he is the only WWF manager of his time not in. Wouldnt surprise me to see him get inducted.

A lot of guys got popped for cocaine and were inducted into the Hall of Fame. I wouldn't hold that against Bull Nakano. She should be far higher.

I find Slick no more stereotypical than a foreigner gimmick or a hillbilly. His gimmick was that of a Detroit pimp.

I liken Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin to Crush with Demolition. I recognize he might go in with them but I see no need for him to take up a top 100 spot. Same with Jimmy, only he never even had a WWE career. I know he's on good terms with WWE, but so is Terry Taylor.

Another person who can probably be added to the 101 to 200 range is Teddy Long. He's really not that great, but it's clear WWE likes him.

Also, if Vince is 1B, then is Toots Mondt (a former wrestler himself) 2B? I guess Jack Tunney would then be 3B?

Jimmy Jam is ten times the wrestler of Crush! Though yes....crush has 100 times as much wwe experience.

Toots and tunney will be in the 300......though not with anything with a letter after it!

Maybe i am being oversensetive with Slick.....

Well that's good to hear about Toots and Jack. Though I hope they're not too far back.

There are a bunch of dead guys I was curious to see what you thought of being added to the top 300. I'll just start with the first 5.

1) Ray Morgan - WWE's play by play man from the late 50s to the early 70s. He's the guy Vince Jr replaced on commentary when Ray asked for more money. Mainly because he joined a union and found out he was being paid crap.

2) Paul Boesch - Former wrestler turned promoter in the Houston area. He was considered for induction in 2009. WWE held a retirement show for him in the late 80s.

3) Angelo Savoldi - He just died and Vince recorded a short tribute for him on RAW. Not many get that honor.

4) Big Daddy - Giant Haystacks already made the list. Might as well include the other big british fellow.

5) Sky Low Low - Top midget attraction for WWE back in the day. Vince made an on air joke about him a few years back. Of course his humor is always outdated.

Definite yes to Sky Low Low. He was on the firnge list, and after more research he would certainly be a decent inductee and would honor the "little people".

I can't argue with your Big Daddy logic.....he is in.

Also yes to Savoldi.

Not sure about Boesch.....

No to Morgan. He is never cited as an influecne by anyone in broadcasting.

Well I would think Boesch making the short list in 2009 is good enough to make the top 200. It's more than half the guys on the list have to their credit.

As for Morgan, while I'm not saying he was a Gordon Solie, his main problem is that WWE has very little footage left of his era. To get any stories about him you'd have to go to an old timer who worked the northeast like Bruno Sammartino, Don Leo Jonathan, Dominic DeNucci or Spiros Arion. Plus Vince McMahon has a negative view on Morgan because he joined a union and demanded more money. Vince absolutely hates unions and thus Morgan might as well have been seen as a communist or something. Plus Vince treats it as a tale of how he got his first job in the WWE and how his dad stood up to all that was wrong in the world. He'll never get in the Hall of Fame because McMahon doesn't care enough and none of the people voting even know he existed because they've never seen the footage. But I think he deserves a nod here. Just to say the man existed.

It's much the same like Bill Cardille of Studio Wrestling. His benefit though is that he was younger and thus is still alive to talk with the old timers. Speaking of which, Bill Cardille can probably make this list.

Anyways, 5 more dead guys...

1) The Fabulous Kangaroos - Al Costello and Roy Heffernan put the stamp on tag team gimmicks.

2) Wild Red Berry - Managed the Kangaroos amongst others like Gorilla Monsoon and Professor Tanaka. He could talk circles around anyone. Plus he was the king of light heavyweight champions.

3) Leroy McGuirk - Former wrestler who turned promoter and ran the mid-south territory for many years before Bill Watts took over. His daughter Mike worked for WWE as a ring announcer and she attended a Hall of Fame ceremony recently as a guest.

4) Bulldog Brower - Top notch character who wrestled the territories. Had a run in WWE as late as the early 80s.

5) Hans Schmidt - Major heel in the 50s and 60s. Big enough to get a segment on the Unreal Story of Professional Wrestling documentary from the late 90s.

I can tell you that all five will be there for sure.... The Kangaroos especially will have a high spot.
