My thoughts.Add:Dick Ebersol - WWE has nominated once before in 2007 and I think they consider him a celebrity more than a promoter.Since Drew Carey is in, it pretty much opens the door for a host of celebs who worked with WWE. William Shatner, Chuck Norris, Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, Mickey Rourke, Pamela Anderson, Snooki, Butterbean, Shaquille O'Neal, Akebono, Pee Wee Herman, Bob Barker, etc etc. SubtractDennis Rodman - He may have brought attention to WCW...but that's WCW. Also he was known for blowing WCW off on several occasions. His reputation is too poor for me to believe they'd induct him.David Arquette - His main claim to fame is winning the World Heavyweight Championship. This is highly regarded as one of the biggest failures of WCW. Why would WWE choose to honor that? They don't have to own that failure. While Arquette might have donated the money he earned from WCW to worthy causes, it still doesn't mean WWE should give him a hall of fame ring for taking part in such a joke. For now I'll just pick.1. Mr T2. Cyndi Lauper3. Muhammad Ali4. Andy Kaufman5. Mike Tyson6. Donald Trump7. Lawrence Taylor8. Dick Ebersol9. Floyd Mayweather10. William ShatnerThoughts?
Indeed. Shatner has had three WWE appearances (that I recall) over 2 decades. The first being an appearance on RAW in the mid 90s where he confronts Lawler, the second being the 2007 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony where he inducted Lawler, and the third being the night he hosted RAW in 2010. Shatner being a big star with legions of fans also makes this choice appetizing to WWE for induction. The problem is that he's 80 years old and on borrowed time. Once he passes on his chances probably fly out the window.
