A First Round Pick from California, Ken Harvey played his first six seasons with the Phoenix Cardinals. While he was a serviceable NFL Linebacker, he was not a star.  This would change when he signed with the Washington Redskins as a Free Agent in 1994.

In Harvey’s first season in Washington, he had 13.5 Sacks (a career-high) and went to his first Pro Bowl.  Harvey was also named a Second Team All-Pro, and would be again in 1995. From 1994 to 1997, Harvey went to the Pro Bowl, while scoring at least two digits in Approximate Value.  Harvey played one more season, retiring after the 1998 season with 41.5 Sacks as a Redskin.

After his playing career, Harvey became a successful sports journalist.
