50. Vernon Davis

Vernon Davis was an All-American at Maryland, and he was so dominant that the San Francisco 49ers took him Sixth Overall (2006), a high slot for a Tight End.

Davis was a starter in year one, and he broke out in 2009 with a 965 Yard and league-leading 13 Touchdowns.  The former Maryland Terrapin had 914 Yards the following season, and while he never had 900 Yards in a year again, he did match his 13 TDs in 2013, which likewise earned him a Pro Bowl Selection.

Davis was traded to the Denver Broncos during the 2015 Season, which proved fruitful as he won a Super Bowl ring that year. As a 49er, Davis secured 55 Touchdowns with 5,640 Yards.
