30. Patrick Surtain

Patrick Surtain was a Second Round Selection from Southern Mississippi but would be used mostly off of the bench in his first two seasons.

In his third season (2000), Surtain was the Dolphins’ starting Left Cornerback, and he was a Pro Bowl Selection three times (2002-04), with a First Team All-Pro nod in 2002.  In all of those three years, Surtain had an Approximate Value of at least 12.

After 2004, he was traded for a Second Round Pick to the Kansas City Chiefs, where he played four years before retiring.  With Miami, he would tally 29 Interceptions with 353 Tackles.
