50. Mel Branch
Mel Branch was a champion with LSU in 1958 and he would sign with Dallas Texans as an inaugural member of the organization.  Branch would instantly become the team’s starting Right Defensive End and he would be named a First Team All Pro in his rookie season and go on to be an AFL All Star the next three seasons.  He would assist the Texans in winning the AFL Championship in 1962.
