Selected second overall in the 2011 Draft, John Elway, who was a high-ranking executive for the Broncos stated that Miller was once in ten years type of player and that is precisely what he became. Miller was the Defensive Rookie of the Year, which was followed up by an 18.5 Sack season and the first of his First Team All-Pro nods. 2013 was the only year he did not make a Pro Bowl, but he missed part of the season due to suspension and later a torn ACL, but back he came becoming the fastest player to reach 50 Quarterback Sacks, and he took the Broncos to win Super Bowl XXVIII where it was the Denver defense that would secure the win. Miller was named the Super Bowl MVP with a six tackles, 2.5 sacks, and a two forced fumbles.
Since that time, Miller remained an elite level on Linebacker and amassed 110.5 Sacks, 142 Tackles for Loss, and 225 Quarterback Hits as a Bronco. His time in Denver came to a surprising end when he was dealt to the Rams, aiding them in their run to a Super Bowl victory. With all due respect to the many talented men who suited up on a Denver defense, we feel comfortable anointing Mille, a two-time runner-up for the DPOY, as the greatest defensive player in franchise history.
