46. Bob Breunig

Bob Breunig was a superstar at Arizona State, where he won the WAC Defensive Player of the Year Award in 1973 and was a three-time All-WAC player.  The Dallas Cowboys certainly noticed and were thrilled he was still available in the third round in 1975, and this would be the pro team that he played the entirety of his career.

The Linebacker would be named to three Pro Bowls and was a Second Team All-Pro in 1980.  Playing at Middle, he became their signal-caller and was a tackling factory, who would record over 1,000 (unofficial) tackles, and was second all-time in franchise history when he retired.  Breunig assisted Dallas in their Super Bowl XII win, and while he is not a Hall of Famer, there was no doubt that few in the league matched the strong side linebacking position as well as he did when he wore the star on his helmet.
