16. Carson Palmer

Carson Palmer was the First Overall Draft Pick in 2003, and the USC Trojan had an up-and-down career for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Palmer nearly had 3,000 Passing Yards as a rookie, and in the next two seasons, it looked like the Bengals had a superstar Quarterback on their hands.  Palmer was a Pro Bowl Selection in 2005 and 2006, and in the first of those two years, he was first in the NFL in Pass Completion Percentage (67.8) and Touchdown Passes (32).

The QB played for Cincinnati until 2010, but the Bengals were struggling through much of it in his second-half of his jungle tenure, and he suffered through his share of injuries.  Like many Bengals Quarterbacks, he grew frustrated, and looked to leave the franchise.  With Palmer, he went as far as retiring, and he would later be traded to the Oakland Raiders.

While the Palmer run in Cincinnati could be viewed as a disappointment, he was statistically very good and arguably underrated if you forget where he was drafted.

Palmer would have 22,694 Passing Yards with a TD-INT ratio of 154-100.
