A First Team All-Pro in his rookie season (though he never did receive that honor again), Jeremy Shocky was brash, cocky and opinionated, but most of all a very good Football player. Shockey would record over 500 receptions, very good numbers for a Tight End, but was also regarded in the NFL as a very good blocker. He would win two Super Bowls, though the first one with the Giants saw him on the injured reserve team. After an acrimonious departure from New York, Shcokey would become another offensive weapon for Drew Brees and this time was a factor in the Super Bowl win, specifically catching the go ahead Touchdown. Had Jeremy Shockey been more of a consistent performer it is possible he would have been Canton bound, but as it stands now he will likely be on the outside looking in.
