In any sport, the man with the most career points would be a lock for the Hall of Fame. Of course, this the Football Hall of Fame and that ranking will always be led by Placekickers who are not exactly held in the highest regard.
Morten Andersen is the individual with the most career points and with a twenty five year career delivering the goods; he is the best bet for a Kicker to get into the Hall of Fame. With that said, is there any real evidence that shows that any Kicker, regardless of Andersen’s resume has a Hall of Fame shot?

Without A&A, kicking would still be a hit or miss affair, pun definitely intended. A guy like Adam Vinatieri would have been an instant hall of famer had he played forty years ago. After A&A, he's great but pales beside them.
Unfortunately, the NFL has an anti-kicker bias (re: Ray Guy). Voters will only allow in one kicker, but the two are so equal that voting one in and ignoring the other makes the voting look like a joke. So their "solution" is not to vote for either.
