As the Left Guard during the first good run of the Kansas City Chiefs, Ed Budde was a punishing blocker who captained the Chiefs O-Line. He was a multiple-time AFL All-Star and would later be named to two Pro Bowls. He has a slot in the Kansas City Chiefs Hall of Fame, but without a previous nomination to the Football Hall of Fame, the trip from Kansas City to Canton seems a long one.
