Charles Haley
Charles Haley is the answer to the envious trivia question as to which football player has the most Super Bowl Rings.  Haley captured five Super Bowls in eight years with the 49ers and Cowboys, but he was not just a long for the ride as he was one of the key defenders on all of the championship teams.

During his tenure with San Francisco and Dallas, Haley cemented himself as one of the most feared pass rushers in the NFL.  He was obsessed with winning and made sure that attitude was contagious in the locker room.  Haley was relentless and worked the inside better than most ever had before.

The supporters for Charles Haley’s HOF candidacy have included the legendary Bill Walsh and John Madden.  This kind of support may help sway people into changing their thinking from being the beneficiary of great squads, to a brilliant defender who helped to make defenses great.

5 rings! what else needs to be said. and it's not liek he wasn't a star on those teams. he was. he may not be Bruce Smith or Reggie White (by the way combined one ring) but Mr. Haley deserves to be in. Who has the most rings in basketball history? Bill Rusell. Or how about baseball? Yogi Berra. I am pretty sure people would be shouting from the roof tops if those two great players were not in their halls. Put Mr. Haley in! Now.

Mark Gastineau with a little longer shelf life because he wasn't a full time player. If it wasn't for his rings, we wouldn't even be having this discussion. And he wasn't a star on those teams either. Montana, Rice, Craig, and Lott were the stars for the 9ers and Aikman, Smith, Irvin and Sanders were the stars for the Boys. They would have won those Super Bowls without him. Only a specialist that got lucky.

If the 49ers kept him in the early '90s, they would have won more titles. He is under-appreciat ed player because of his outbursts. Haley definitely deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.
