154. Wilf Cude

In terms of interesting stories on this hockey list there are few that can match Wilf Cude.  The native of Wales holds the distinction of being the main Goaltender for the Philadelphia Quakers’ lone season in 1930/31 and was the “Spare” Goalie after.  That did not last long as he would play for the Montreal Canadiens after and he was a two-time Second Team All-Star, which not many players can say.
