34. Sam Cassell

Sam Cassell may never have been the best player on any team he was on, but didn’t it always seem that as soon as he got to a team, they got better? Cassell was a great locker room guy, a good leader, an efficient passer and a feisty defender. He is the only player in NBA history to play over ten years and win a championship in his first and last campaign. Yet, when you play for eight different squads and only appear on one All Star Team (and again was never the go to player), is he really a Hall of Famer? Probably not, but didn’t you want him on your team?

36. Eddie Jones

A popular player and a stealing machine, Eddie Jones was a very good Shooting Guard who strung together solid seasons in the late 90’s for the Los Angeles Lakers and Charlotte Hornets. Jones was just adept at steals, but was also a dangerous threat from behind the arc. He would three times be named to the Second Team Defensive squad along with three All Star Games. We are sure many who were fans of Eddie Jones are chanting “Eddie” in their mind right now.

111. Ziggy Palffy

In the National Hockey League, Ziggy Palffy did not have the pleasure of playing for a lot of good teams as he was only in the playoffs for three of his twelve seasons in North America.  Still, in a career split with the New York Islanders and Los Angeles Kings (and a final NHL campaign in Pittsburgh), Palffy had five seasons of 85 Points and averaged 1.04 Points per Game.  Palffy could have had a longer career in the NHL but after a brief retirement, he played for the Slovak Extraliga for years.

233. Tomas Vokoun

From the Czech Republic, Tomas Vokoun had a fantastic career in the NHL, most notably with the Nashville Predators where he had three straight seasons where he finished in the top ten in Vezina Trophy voting with a 10th, 8th and 4th place finish in the 2003/04, 04/05 and 06/07 respectively.  The year after the two-time NHL All-Star would play for the Florida Panthers and would lead the league in Goalie Point Shares.
