A bit too quirky, and that quirkiness loses its welcome quickly. The Barenaked Ladies and Crash Test Dummies have the same problem. The only band that has this same brand of weirdness factor that should considered for the Hall is Was(not Was).

The music for their songs is often upbeat, catchy &/or fun, but, judging from most of the lyrics, they can hardly be called "carefree". In fact, they are quite serious with what they express if you listen.
