It is impossible to discuss Malik Sealy without discussing his tragic death at age 30 from a drunk driver while coming home from the birthday party of his best friend and teammate, Kevin Garnett.
Sealy died as a member of the Timberwolves and his #2 was rightfully retired by the team.
As a player on the court, Sealy appeared in a little more than 100 Games for Minnesota and he averaged 11.3 Points per Game in what would be his final NBA season in 1999/2000. Had he not been tragically killed it is likely he would have played more for the T-Wolves and likely would have been ranked much higher on this list.
