Josh Hader was traded twice before he made it to the Majors in 2017, but once he did, the two teams that dealt him previously (Baltimore and Houston) have been regretting it ever since.

Hader pitched in middle relief as a rookie, and in his sophomore in 2018, Hader made the All-Star team, winning six games with a 0.811 WHIP and a seventh-place finish in Cy Young voting.  Hader saved 37 Games in 2019, going to his second All-Star Game, and dropping his WHIP even more to 0.806.  In both 2018 and 2019, Hader fanned at least 135 batters, posting SO/9s of 15.8 and 16.4 respectively, and he won the Hoffman Reliever of the Year Award in both seasons.

In the COVID-shortened 2020 season, Hader led the National League with 13 Saves, and had his fourth consecutive sub-1.000 WHIP season.  When Baseball resumed to a full schedule in 2021, Hader responded with the best season of his life, saving 34 Games, leading the NL in WPA (4.8), and posting an ERA of 1.23 and WHIP of 0.835.  Hader won his third Hoffman Reliever of the Year, and was on his way to being the best Brewers close in history before the retooling squad traded him to San Diego during the 2022 Season, although, he was struggling that year despite the All-Star appearance.

Hader had 125 Saves for Milwaukee, finishing 155 Games.
