After a brief time with the Texas Rangers, Travis Hafner was traded to the Cleveland Indians, where he brought a solid power game to the Tribe.

Hafner, who either played First Base or Designated Hitter, arrived in Cleveland in 2003 and was a starter by 2004.  Hafner was at his best from 2004 to 2007, where he never had less than 24 Home Runs and 108 RBIs.  Hafner batted over .300 in the first three years of this run, with his best year coming in 2006, where he blasted 42 Home Runs, 117 RBIs with a Slash Line of .308/.439/.657.  His Slugging Percentage and 1.097 OPS led the American League, and he was eighth in MVP voting.  Hafner was fifth in MVP voting the year before in what was arguably a weaker season, but a 33 Home Run and .305 Batting Average year was impressive.

Hafner's skills slipped in 2008 with injuries compiling, but he still had occasional power.  He stayed with Cleveland until 2013, when he signed with the New York Yankees.

As an Indian, Hafner smacked 200 Home Runs with 1,039 Hits and a Slugging Percenatage of .509.
