Cliff Lee took his time on the mound, and the longer he took, the more worried batters became. Lee was a clutch pitcher (as shown by his excellent post seasons statistics) and is a former American League Cy Young Winner. Lee would also lead the league once in ERA, twice in FIP and once in WHIP.
Lee only had 143 Wins (against 91 Losses) and his bWAR of 43.6 doesn’t measure up against modern Hall of Fame Pitchers but this was a highly regarded ace for years and worthy of a Hall of Fame look.
